The de Rosset House is one of Wilmington's earliest residences designed by the nation's first great professional architectss, Latrobe, Strickland and Walter, in the Greek Revival style. The house was planned to be a prominent house overlooking the Cape Fear River, a house that would make a strong architectural statement. The six luxurious suites are individually decorated in period furnishings to reflect the rich history of the house.
