Barnes County Historical Museum

Barnes County Historical Society is one of the larger museums of its kind in the region. Their mission is to promote education through the discovery, collection, and preservation of historical records, articles, and artifacts dealing with Barnes County specifically and adjacent areas generally.

They provide information on Native American cultures, settlement, agriculture, local & regional history, clothing, frontier military, medical, musical, and doll collections. This 20,000-square-foot museum offers frequently changing world class and traveling exhibits as well.

Museum is open all year, Monday-Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and admission is free.
