Search Franconia New Hampshire

The Franconia Ski Club (FSC) was founded in 1933 exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, five years before the Aerial Tramway was built. FSC is one of the oldest ski racing organizations in the United States and was started by Roland Peabody to provide ski recreation and training for local school children.

The mission of the FSC is to impart the joys of skiing and the lifelong lessons of healthy competition to the children of its broad and open membership. The club achieves its mission by providing thoughtful, caring and professional instruction in skiing and ski racing and by supporting and sponsoring all levels of NHARA and USSA junior racing.

Their courses include: Dry Land Training, Nutrition for Athletes, Speed Jumps and Fast Skis, Components of Modern Slalom, and much more.
