Glen is located in Carroll County 15 miles from the Maine state line in eastern New Hampshire between Jackson and Conway along Highway 302/16 on the banks of the Ellis River. An access point to both Franconia and Pinkham notches, Glen is an important link in the chain of communities in the Mount Washington Valley.

Skiing is plentiful at one of the nearby ski areas, such as Attitash, Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring and Jackson Ski Touring Foundation. Visitors will find good hiking along the White Mountain Trail. Kids will also enjoy Storyland.
