Elizabeth

The City of Elizabeth is located in Union County, in the Gateway Region, and is the county seat on the southern city limits of Newark, along the Garden State Parkway (I-95) near Newark Bay and Upper New York Bay. Staten Island is less than a mile from Elizabeth over the Staten Island Expressway (I-287).

Elizabeth is part of the Newark, New Jersey metro area.
