Poor Richard's Winery is located a few miles from the Delaware River. The farm has 15 acres of French hybrid grapes on mountainside shale with southern sun exposure. They have Chambourcin, Chancellor, Boca Noir, and Leon Millot for the reds and Vidal, Seyval, and small amounts of Ravat and Melody for whites. Red, white, and some other varieties of wines are served. The method of winemaking is virtually by hand, case by case. All grapes are hand selected cluster by cluster, de-stemmed, pressed and fermented, bottled and labeled by a select few under the supervision of the winemaker. The expanding winery now includes a party deck overlooking the vineyard.
