The Rancocas Creek is the idyllic setting for hiking, casual picnicking, and nature observation in this lesser known park. The Audubon Society operates a nature center within its confines and sponsors wildlife programs. A portion of the park is leased to the Powhatan Indians. A replica of the Indian village of the 1600s has been constructed on this site. An annual festival of music, performances and crafts is sponsored by the tribe.

A network of trails wanders through upland and lowland hardwood forest, leading hikers along the North Branch of the Rancocas Creek and an extensive freshwater tidal marsh. The diversity of the landscape provides habitat for numerous species of birds and animals. The natural area features a self-guided interpretive trail with highlighted points of interest.

Located in central New Jersey north of Route 70.
