Wall Street, New York City New York
This memorial, constructed in 1842, served as NYC's City Hall, then the first Federal Hall, then as City Hall again after the Federal move to Philadelphia in 1790. The current structure served as the Customs House, and then the U. S. Subtreasury. The museum has a panoply of artifacts and material on Washington's inauguration, the Bill of Rights and old Federal Hall. Special events and programs also are available.
