Norwich is located in Chenango County 43 miles NE of Binghamton between Oxford and Sherburne along Highway 12 on the banks of the Chenango River near Bowman Lake State Park and Hunts Pond State Park in the Central Region of the state.

Visitors can enjoy the Chenango County Museum and Northeast Classic Car Museum.
