Bellevue is located in north central Ohio in Huron County about 40 miles southeast of Toledo and 60 miles west-southwest of Cleveland. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 8,051, a decrease of 106 since 1990. Area recreation includes outings to Twin Lakes Golf Course for those golfers wanting to get in a quick round.
