Chillicothe Gazette

Located on West Main Street, the Gazette was first published in 1800 and is the oldest continuously published newspaper west of the Alleghenies. Two wall-mounted cases display written matter from Babylonian times, wooden printing blocks from Asia and a page from the Guttenberg Bible. Guided tours are available Monday through Friday 8am-5pm; closed major holidays.
