Metroparks of the Toledo Area

The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area is dedicated to providing a regional system of premier natural, historical and cultural public parklands maintained and operated to the highest professional standards to enhance our quality of life and inspire preservation efforts in this and future generations. Each of the Metroparks offers ample picnic areas, playfields, trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, interpretive information and natural beauty. Each also offers something that makes it unique.

All of the Metroparks are open daily 7 a.m. until dark. The administrative offices, located at Wildwood Preserve, are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Cook's Calf Day Celebration Wolcottville IN June15 Enjoy a day of family fun where the food's delicious, the music's great, and the buffalo still roam. It's all at our annual Calf Day Celebration! You can hitch a free wagon ride to see and feed buffalo, learn how buffalo hair is spun, watch as smoked bison jerky is made over an open fire, interact with Native Chief Harry and bite into a tasty buffalo burger and other concession food.
