Ohio Northern University is located in northwestern Ohio in the town of Ada in northwestern Hardin County about 50 miles northwest of Columbus and about 50 miles south-southwest of Toledo.

The University has an enrollment of about 3,300 students and its strengths lie in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Law and Pharmacy. They are affiliated with the Methodist church.
