Located on Main Street, this musuem is housed in a Victorian mansion featuring decorative glass and rich carvings in cherry and oak. Displays of local items include prehistoric, the Frederick Machetanz Collection of Alaskan Art and Literature, Wilson NFL footballs manufactured in nearby Ada and 200 of Kenton Hardware Company's iron toys. There also is an exhibit dedicated to Kenton resident and Civil war hero Lt. Jacob Parrot, the nation's first recipient of the Medal of Honor.

Open Thursday through Sunday 1pm-4pm in April - December, Saturday and Sunday 1pm-4pm the rest of the year. Closed holidays and holiday weekends.
