Westlake is located in northeastern Ohio in Cuyahoga County about 15 miles west-southwest of Cleveland along I-90 about 2 miles inland from Lake Erie. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 29,740, an increase of 2,722 since 1990. Westlake Meadowood Golf Course offers golfers a chance to play any combination of 3 nines for their 18-hole round of the day. In addition, Hilliard Lakes Golf Club, built in 1968, offers the public 18 holes of peace and relaxation.
