Delaware County

Delaware county is located in central Ohio and uses the city of Delaware as its county seat. The county population on July 1, 1999, was 103,679, an increase of 36,750 over the 1990 census.

Among the "Things to do and see" are the Polaris Fashion Place, the Columbus Zoo, and of course The Little Brown Jug. The Little Brown Jug is one of the premier events in harness racing that is held every year at the Delaware County Fair during the third week of September.

Historic buildings and sites include the Chambers Road Covered Bridge near Olive Green in the eastern part of the county and Limestone Vale, the Warren Tavern Complex and the Ohio Wesleyan University Student Observatory in the Delaware vicinity.
