Cherokee Landing State Park is located in eastern Oklahoma in Cherokee County south of Tahlequah ten miles south of the junction of U.S. Highway 62 and SR 82.

The 150-acre park features the 12,500-acre Lake Tenkiller, 150 campsites with assigned campground, swimming beach, boating, water skiing, fishing, softball and a playground.
