Davis

Davis is located in south central Oklahoma in Murray County at the junction of U.S. Highway 77 and SR 7 and just east of Interstate 35.

The town is about five miles from the northern edge of the Lake of the Arbuckles and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

One of the locals' favorite spots here is a swimming hole created by 77-foot high Turner Falls located about 10 miles south of town. Other area attractions include Arbuckle Wilderness which features camel rides, a dinosaur park, a water slide and amusement rides. In addition, the Cedarvale Botanical Gardens has acres of beautiful and exotic plants and flowers.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,614, an increase of 71 since 1990.
