Lake Eufala State Park, formerly known as Fountainhead State Park, is located in eastern Oklahoma in McIntosh County 14 miles southwest of Checotah off Interstate 40 and SR 150.
Features and facilities include 2,853 park acres, 102,400-acre Eufaula Lake, 235 campsites with assigned campground, a nature center with an on-site naturalist, hiking and nature trails and a horse stable.
Also included are a marina, indoor and outdoor fishing, boating, a swimming beach, water skiing, restaurant, grocery and gift shop.
An 18-hole golf course complete with putting green and driving range, pro shop, and golf cart rentals.
