Via Christi Oklahoma Regional Medical Center is a 150-bed, Catholic, not-for-profit, hospital that has served the healthcare needs of Ponca City, north central Oklahoma and south central Kansas since 1919.
After being known as St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for 26 years, the hospital became Via Christi Oklahoma Regional Medical Center of Ponca City on Christmas Day, 2001 to better reflect its relationship with the Via Christi Health System.
The hospital, which has nearly 500 employees and an active medical staff of 50 physicians in 22 medical specialties, provides full-service acute care with advanced technology to its patients. Technologies for surgery, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CAT, ultrasound, mammography), and treatment are available to Via Christi patients. Other services provide patients a continuum of care, from comprehensive inpatient to sub-acute skilled nursing, from outpatient surgery and services to home health care.
