Memorial Hospital of Texas County is a county owned, not for profit organization licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Health. They are a 47-bed, acute care hospital that employs over 180 people and serves all of Texas County as well as other areas in the Oklahoma Panhandle, Kansas and Texas. The hospital grants medical privileges to seventeen area physicians.

Besides offering several medical services, they also provide community services. Their hospital offers health fairs to businesses and to the people of Texas County. A health fair includes several different tests such as cholesterol testing, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, and pulmonary function tests.
