The 120-acre Northern Oklahoma College was founded in 1901 and is located in Tonkawa, Kay County east of Interstate 35 about 90 miles north of Oklahoma City and has an enrollment of over 1,700. A second campus is located in Enid in Garfield County and enrolls about 1,000 students.
The college offers over 50 associate degrees in three Schools--Applied Sciences, Arts and Science.
Mens sports include basketball, soccer and baseball. Women compete in basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball.
The Tonkawa campus has over 30 organizations, including clubs, honor societies and religious organizations while the Enid campus has nine.
