Okmulgee Lake is located in eastern Oklahoma in southwestern Okmulgee County and is fed from the south by Salt Creek.

Along with Dripping Springs Lake, the 700-acre lake, with its 20 miles of shoreline, is the focal point for Okmulgee/Dripping Springs State Park. The area provides a great camping experience with excellent fishing, good trotline and jug fishing as well as water skiing.
