Pond Creek City Library

Pond Creek City Library, serving an area of 880 residents, has a collection of 8,800 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 147 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 290 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $4,000. Patrons make 5,200 visits annually, and check out materials 8,400 times. Twenty-four percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
