Roland

Roland is located in eastern Oklahoma in Sequoyah County 10 miles north of the Arkansas River about 5 miles from the Arkansas border. Robert S. Kerr Lake, located about 15 miles to the west of town, offers outdoor recreation and water sports for area visitors.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,702, an increase of 221 since 1990.
