The Waynoka version of the Santa Fe Depot Museum is located in northwestern Oklahoma in Woods County and is one of several "Santa Fe Depot Museum"s located throughout the country. The depots naturally sprang up around key stopping points (often cattle loading stations) along the BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) or the AT&SF (Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe) Railroad system. Other similar Museums in Oklahoma are in Shawnee and Pauls Valley.
