Southeast Oklahoma State University is located in Durant

about 90 miles north-northeast of Dallas
. The 177-acre campus is in a rural setting just off U.S. Highway 69/75.
Founded in 1909, this publicly-funded institution offers programs in the arts and sciences, business, education, music, and technology to a primarily commuter student body. There are 4 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school. Including residence halls there are 46 buildings.
