Black River Wilderness Park is owned and operated by the Chippewas of Mnjikaning First Nation. It has trailer sites with electric and water. Sewer connections are available for seasonal customers. Electric and water sites both 15 amp and 30 amp are available for overnight campers as well as seasonally. The park has 4 islands on which you can tent. Three of these islands are accessible by walking bridges and another by a natural stone pathway. All sites are on the outside of the island so everyone has a river site. Cabins are available for rent. The Black River affords many pleasures such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, rafting or sitting in the rapids with the water flowing over you like a Jacuzzi. There are horseshoes to play, volleyball and a badminton court plus a fenced play area.
