The Mountsberg Wildlife Centre is an education and animal conservation site opearting under the authority of the Halton Area Conservation Region. Its main specialty is the rehabilitation of raptors (birds of prey) who have been injured. It is the Conservation's efforts to return these birds back into the wild, once they have successfully recovered from their injuries. The Centre also includes an interpretive center, hiking, nature trails, and a picnic area. Maple syrup demonstrations are presented in the Spring. Other activities include fishing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, and wagon and sleigh rides.
