This beautiful 2.5 mile trail in the Umatilla National Forest passes by several historic sites, and features incredible views. The trail is open to hiking and horseback riding. Take Willow Creek Road just south of Heppner approximately 23 miles to the Coalmine Day Use Area. Contact Heppner Ranger District for more information.
