The Bohemia Trail was originally constructed in 1864-85 as the first organized effort for a wagon route from Oakland, Oregon to the Bohemia mines. Today, most of the route is abandoned or disturbed, but the remaining section of the trail is well preserved and has been designated a historic National Recreation Trail.
The 6.5 mile trail is recommended for hikers and horses. For more information and/or directions, contact the Cottage Grove Ranger District.
