There are a few stores that serve residents and travelers on Highway 38, which passes through Elkton from the Oregon Coast to Interstate 5. This community was settled in the 1850s
Elkton is a renowned trout, small mouth bass, salmon, steelhead and shad fishing hot spot. Other attractions include: Two wineries, Graffiti Weekend, hunting and the Wildflower Show.
There is also an Elkton, Maryland.
