Green Ridge Lookout

Located in the Deschutes National Forest, at an elevation of 4,800 feet. Accessible from Highway 20 near Sisters. Built in the 1960's, this 14 ft by 14 ft cabin is a two-story design. Snug on the side of Green Ridge with views of Metolius River Valley, Mt. Jefferson and Three-Fingered Jack. Propane stove, refrigerator, heater and lights are provided along with a table and chairs

This site has two rental seasons. The spring season runs from April 15 to June 30. The fall season runs from September 15 through November 15. Winter access may require 4-wheel, snowmobile or cross-country skis. Maximum stay is seven nights. The cabin sleeps four friends, but only one bed is provided. Reservations are first-come, first-served. Contact the Sisters Ranger District for more information.
