Constructed in 1889 by P.J. Lindberg for Patrick Hughes, the house was a celebration of 38 years of hard living on the river bottom. The two-story, 11-room house is solidly framed of 2x8 inch old-growth Port Orford Cedar. The house is open to the public from April through October, Thursday to Monday, 10 to 3:30.
