
Incorporated in 1965 from the communities of Oceanlake, Delake, Taft, Cutler City, and Nelscott, Lincoln City has accommodations from budget to luxury, as well as 7 miles of public beaches and a variety of hiking trails. Visitors enjoy the Connie Hansen Garden on Northwest 33rd and the Chinook Winds Casino Resort on Northwest 44th. Families find the creative playground at Regatta Grounds City Park on Northeast 15th a real treat. Lincoln City is also home to several highly rated art galleries.
Lincoln City has favorable winds for kite flying, and takes advantage of it at the annual summer and fall kite festivals held at the D River Wayside in June and October. Other major activities include Antique Week in February and Finders Keepers from mid-October to Memorial Day, where glass floats are placed on the beach for anyone to find and keep.
