Milwaukie

Milwaukie is located in Clackamas County, between Portland and Lake Oswego along Hwy 224 and the banks of the Willamette River.

From humble beginnings in 1840 as a riverfront shipping yard, Milwaukie grew with the railroads through the years, to become a hub of urban activity. Milwaukie now offers an attractive mix of residential, commercial, and industrial development.

Milwaukie is also proving itself a regional leader with innovative and successful involvement programs for transportation planning and neighborhood revitalization.

The Milwaukie Museum and Milwaukie Center are popular attractions within the community.

Milwaukie is part of the Portland-Vancouver, Oregon-WA metro area.
