Monroe

Monroe is located south of Corvallis, and 10 miles north of Junction City along Highway 99W. The town is at the southern most boundary of Benton County.

Area attractions include: Alsea Falls, Marys Peak, Wm. L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge, Peavy Aboretum, McDonald Forest, PAC-10 activities at Oregon State University & University of Oregon, several art galleries, community festivals, summer open-air concerts, year-round performing arts at the Majestic theatre, covered Bridges, historic buildings and wineries.

There is also a Monroe, Louisiana.
