Located in
Howard Buford Recreation Area, the arboretum is the principal feature of that park and is operated by
Lane County Parks, encompassing 2300 acres.
Friends of Mount Pisgah Arboretum, the volunteers responsible for the park's transformation since 1973, have made many improvements to the site, including gravelling the drive and removing brambles so as to reveal the wildflowers.
Once a hunting ground for the Kalapuya Indians and later a pioneer farm, the park is now a visual feast of flourishing flora that's sure to enchant any visitor.
Located at the East end of Seavey Loop Road.
