The North Umpqua Trail begins near Glide and parallels the North Umpqua River for most of its 79 miles. The trail is divided into 11 segments, ranging from three to 16 miles in length. The trail leads high into the Cascade Mountain Range and connects with the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
