The Oregon State University herbarium is the oldest of the three herbaria in Oregon. It was established in the 1880's at Oregon Agricultural College. This institution, later called Oregon State College, is now the present Oregon State University.
From Interstate 5: Take the Hwy 34 West exit; it is about 5 miles south of Albany. Travel west on Hwy 34 and cross the bridge into Corvallis.
Continue straight ahead (the road becomes one-way and is called Harrison). At 30th street (ca. 1.5 miles) turn left and drive a few blocks south to Campus Way and turn left again.
Enter the parking lot, and use the pay station to purchase a parking permit. The cost is $1.00 per hour with a $5.00 maximum for an entire day.
To reach the herbarium, walk east on Campus Way, Cordley Hall will be on your left. The Herbarium is in the northwest corner of the building (by the flower garden), first door on the right.
