International Rose Test Gardens

Search Portland Oregon
Portland's International Rose Test Garden is the oldest official, continuously operated public rose test garden in the U.S. More than 8,000 roses of every color of the rainbow bloom here, filling the air with rose perfume.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors visit the garden annually. The gardens are in Washington Park, overlooking Portland from the west hills, only a few yards from the Japanese Garden. The garden is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Washington Park Rose Garden Store is located at the top of the garden to the south of the parking area.

Gardens are open to the public throughout Oregon.
