A genealogy collection is the Siuslaw Public Library holds the society's books and periodicals.
The Siuslaw Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization. It's purpose is:
- to aid researchers interested in genealogy and local history
- to promote and stimulate interest in genealogy and local history
- to collect and preserve genealogical and historical data, especially pertaining to the Siuslaw Valley
- to publish a quarterly newsletter, as time and finances permit.
