Siuslaw River Bridge

Search Florence Oregon
The Siuslaw River Bridge was one of five major bridges built in 1936, and like the others, replaced ferry service across the river. The 140-foot, double-leaf bascule drawspan is noted for its many decorative touches. The river, which is navigable about 14 miles inland to Mapleton, is popular with both sport fishermen and crabbers.
