Siuslaw River South Jetty

The 60-acre South Jetty, at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, offers easy access to Oregon's giant sand dunes in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. A popular ATV recreation area near the jetty allows vacationers a place to ride Off-Road Vehicles (OHV) and motorcycles on the huge sand dunes. On the jetty and in the wetlands behind the foredune, many birds can be seen, and there is direct access to the Pacific Ocean Beaches.
