Held each summer, the Strawberry Festival celebrates the large acreage of strawberries in the area surrounding Lebanon. The festival prides itself on annually baking the World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake. Afterwards, it is eaten by those attending the festival. The 1969 cake was 16 feet long, 12 feet wide, 8 feet long. It weighed three tons and served 14,000 people.
