Tillamook Bay is fed by several Coast Range Mountains
streams and rivers and extends inland almost to the city of Tillamook
. Many boats use Garibaldi
as their port from which to venture into the Pacific Ocean. The mouth of the bay is guarded by Barview
. The spit across the bay was once developed by the ill-fated Bayocean
