Jefferson Middle School offers a safe and inclusive school community. It is committed to academic excellence, youth leadership, and innovative programs. A strong elective program which includes art, movement and physical education, drumming, technology, video, choir, band, drama, second language, and life skills is included. Students can also participate in planting and harvesting a school garden, restoring wetlands, working with elders, and other volunteers. Jefferson staff believes education should be expansive, democratic, and inspiring full participation of all students.
