Bridge and nature walks are popular, and Drift Creek Wilderness, a few miles east of Waldport, is accessible to hikers. Points of interest in town include the Waldport Heritage Museum and Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretive Center, also home to the Waldport Chamber of Commerce. A wayside at the south end of town provides beach access.
