A 75 year old farmhouse with an ocean view, the Homestead Bed & Breakfast is one of the original Depoe Bay homesteads. Furnished to maintain the ambiance of the 1920's and 30's with lots of lace, linen, crystal, fresh flowers and a few modern touches thrown in, such as the espresso machine in the updated kitchen. The house was converted into a bed and breakfast in April of this year, but in the old part of the house, most of the lights are still on pull chains. The Homestead B&B has a full front porch that has been glassed in, and is ideal for viewing the ocean while having refreshments and enjoying the ocean view or visiting. Many changes are in the works for the future, both inside and out, which will make this lovely old home more cozy and comfortable as a romantic getaway at the beach.
