West LaVerne Park Day Use Area A is located just west of La Verne Park. The day-use area caters to reserved picnics of up to 300 people. There is a large covered picnic shelter equipped with a kitchen sink, running water, an electric burner stovetop, electrical outlets, and picnic tables. In addition, there are horseshe pits, a playground area, a softball field, and handicapped-accessible restrooms. Available by reservation only. West LaVerne Large Group Camping Area B is nestled in a large Douglas Fir and Oregon Myrtle grove. Campsites are situated close to the Coquille River. The park features 22 campsites, coin-operated showers, a covered gazebo, BBQ grill, disposal station, and much more. There is also a volleyball area, horseshoe pits, and a playground.
